About The Position

The Repair and Maintenance team member at La Concha Resort maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment, systems, and facilities throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house. The role responds to maintenance requests from guests and associates and supports engineering services that improve the guest experience and associate work conditions. The position involves diagnosing problems, developing plans for prompt resolution, coordinating schedules, and sourcing materials and parts. It also includes monitoring inventory needs, maintaining accurate work records, following company standards and safety procedures, participating in safety training, and contributing to a positive, professional team environment. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Hospitality-oriented.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, plumbing, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, or general building maintenance.
Able to lift heavy objects, bend, squat, and stretch; able to stand for 2–3 hours at a time and lift up to 60 pounds.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hotel equipment, systems, and facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and associates.
Support and improve engineering services that address issues affecting guest experience and associate work conditions.
Analyze problems and develop action plans for timely resolution, including procuring materials and parts and coordinating schedules.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment and inventory needs for tools, materials, and spare parts.
Ensure adherence to company standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of work performed.
Follow company policies and safety and security procedures; promptly report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
Participate in safety training and promote safety awareness.
Maintain positive working relationships and support the team in achieving common goals.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
