About The Position

The Rental Utility organizes machinery, attachments, and components throughout the yard to maintain efficient workflow and accessibility. The role prepares and inspects rental equipment, supports service and rental personnel, and completes daily yard and equipment-maintenance tasks. Work takes place in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and includes safely handling equipment and using shop equipment as needed. The employee is expected to demonstrate and promote the company’s Core Values in interactions with customers and team members. Daily tasks are assigned by the Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Organize machinery, attachments, and components throughout the yard to maintain efficient workflow and accessibility.
Perform cycle charging of scissor lifts and ensure annual inspections are valid to maintain equipment readiness.
Inspect rental equipment upon return and accurately identify and document damage.
Safely load and unload equipment, attachments, and components as needed.
Verify that machines and attachments leaving or returning to the yard have an Equipment Movement Report (EMR) and ID number, are bar-coded, and are properly checked in or out.
Support coordinators and service personnel by locating attachments, setting up remote flashes, and staging machines for technicians.
Wash and clean machines for the service and rental departments.
Perform daily safety inspections on shop forklifts and overhead cranes, if necessary.
Maintain the wash-pad water recycler daily.
Complete daily tasks assigned by the Service Supervisor.
Demonstrate and promote the company’s Core Values in interactions with customers and team members.
