About The Position
ASCO Equipment is hiring a Rental Sales Representative for its Rental Department in Tyler, Texas. The role focuses on building customer relationships, meeting customers’ equipment needs, and presenting additional services. The representative proactively grows revenue through customer service, develops new markets, and pursues profitable opportunities in support of ASCO’s continued growth. The position suits an ambitious, self-starting person who can provide solutions in demanding circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and the G-suite platform.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

- Knowledge of construction or heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Establish new business opportunities through sales calls within the branch territory.
- Manage pre-call planning, post-call notes, and follow-up actions using a CRM tool.
- Educate customers about equipment through product presentations and demonstrations.
- Resolve problems and follow through to address customer needs.
- Follow safety rules and complete required safety training.
- Represent ASCO positively and professionally at all times.
