Rental Sales Agent (Airport)
About The Position
The Rental Sales Agent serves as a first point of contact for customers at a SIXT airport branch, providing a friendly and professional car-rental experience. The role involves greeting customers, identifying their needs, preparing rental agreements, and recommending vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and other services. Agents are expected to meet and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling while handling customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism. The position offers an hourly rate of $18.25 and uncapped bonus opportunities, with a stated average salary range of $74,000 to $134,000 and unlimited earning potential. Flexible working hours and development opportunities are also offered.
Requirements
- Proven sales ability, including upselling and closing experience, with motivation to meet targets and work directly with customers.
- Experience in a relevant sector such as retail sales, hospitality sales, banking, B2B, or car rental, along with a service-oriented mindset and a record of building customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and enjoyment of direct customer interaction.
- Comfort working in a commission-driven environment and under pressure.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with flexibility in working hours.
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
