About The Position

The Rental Sales Agent works on the Budget team in Wichita, Kansas, in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that also emphasizes individual contribution. Sales representatives can earn $15–$18 per hour or more after commission. Availability is required within the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The agent greets customers, answers questions about charges, vehicle damage, and directions, and handles vehicle exchanges and extensions. The role also includes inspecting and scanning returning vehicles, reporting damage, providing computerized receipts, staying current on company policies, training, pricing, and promotions, and assisting teammates or other areas as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of customer service experience.
Professional communication skills.
Problem-resolution experience.
Minimum age of 18.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Greet customers using standard dialogue.
Address customer inquiries, including explanations of charges, vehicle damages, and directions.
Perform vehicle exchanges and extensions.
Inspect incoming vehicles for new damage.
Report damages to the on-duty supervisor.
Scan returning vehicles back into the system.
Provide computerized receipts to customers.
Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing, and promotions.
Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed.
