About The Position

At SIXT, the Rental Sales Agent provides customer service and sales support at an airport branch. The agent welcomes customers, guides them through the rental process, identifies their needs, prepares rental agreements, and recommends vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services. The role focuses on customer satisfaction and meeting or exceeding sales goals through upselling and cross-selling.

The position offers an hourly rate of $19.20 plus uncapped bonuses and commissions. SIXT states that the resulting average salary range is $111,000 to $195,000, with unlimited earning potential. Employees must be willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

• Proven sales ability, including upselling and closing experience, with motivation to meet targets and interact directly with customers.
• A service-oriented mindset and experience building customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and enjoyment of direct customer interaction.
• Comfort working in a commission-driven environment and thriving under pressure.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with flexibility in working hours.
• A valid US driver's license and clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers in a friendly, professional, and sales-oriented manner.
• Greet and guide customers through the car rental process, building rapport and identifying their needs.
• Prepare rental agreements and upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services.
• Meet and exceed sales goals through upselling and cross-selling.
• Handle customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism while remaining organized and service-oriented.
