About The Position

Wheeler Machinery Co. is seeking a Rental Coordinator at its Kaysville, Utah location to rent Caterpillar and allied equipment. This full-time, benefited position facilitates rental and sales needs for current and prospective customers. The role requires multitasking, strong organization, and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers. The position also supports safe work practices as part of daily operations.

Requirements

Math, reading, writing, and typing skills.
Flexibility and the ability to perform a wide range of tasks.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and occasionally climb.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees by telephone or electronically.

Responsibilities

Receive and make calls from rental customers, answer questions, and quote rental rates and sale prices.
Help customers select equipment models and sizes suitable for their applications and jobsite requirements.
Maintain a proactive and creative approach to increasing rental sales activity.
Ensure rental transactions are accurate and timely, including setting rental rates, invoicing, verifying insurance, and configuring machines and work tools.
Schedule and coordinate equipment transportation.
Update rental transactions and contract information in the Dealer Business System.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs with the Service Department.
Investigate and resolve customer issues involving equipment deliveries, repairs, billing, and related matters.
Assist outside Sales Representatives as needed.
Ensure safety practices are part of everyone's daily routine.
