Remote Retention Representative
About The Position
The Remote Retention Representative handles 100% inbound calls from new and existing customers in a fast-paced production environment at a Fortune 250 company. The role uses a consultative approach to position EchoStar’s TV, internet, and wireless products and services and influence customer purchasing decisions. There are no outbound or cold calls. Customer interactions must be handled with honesty and integrity. The role is full-time and requires the employee to live in Texas, in or near Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, or Houston. Base pay is listed as $34,000, with on-target earnings of $70,000 and uncapped commission; top earners may make $100,000 or more, and elite performers may earn $150,000 or more. Compensation may combine hourly pay and a location pay differential. Employment is contingent on completing a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
- Competitive spirit, determination, resilience, a persuasive personality, a growth mindset, and integrity.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must live in Texas in or near Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, or Houston.
- Complete a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
- Provide a smartphone or device with an active network connection.
- Provide a home workspace with wired internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload, a USB keyboard, mouse, headset, webcam, and at least 2 monitors.
- Employee is responsible for setup costs, except where required by law.
