About The Position
AO Globe Life / American Income Life is hiring for a fully remote, independent-contractor opportunity supporting individuals and families across the United States with supplemental benefits. The role is suited to people seeking a people-centered, service-first career, including recent graduates in business, marketing, or communications. No prior insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided. The position involves meeting with clients virtually over Zoom to discuss their needs, explain personalized supplemental benefit options, and guide them through enrollment. It also requires providing attentive client-first service, maintaining organized and accurate digital records, and following up with clients. The opportunity offers inbound client interest rather than cold outreach and may provide renewal-based income growth and advancement into leadership roles. This is a commission-based, performance-driven opportunity, not an hourly or salaried position. Candidates must complete required training and obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities. Applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements are at the candidate’s expense. Licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident in virtual meetings and familiar with digital tools.
- Have a genuine interest in helping others and supporting a mission-driven company.
- Be capable of obtaining the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote workspace.
- Customer service experience is helpful but not required.
