About The Position
AO Globe Life is seeking a Virtual Member Services Associate to support individuals, families, labor union members, credit union members, and association members as they explore insurance coverage options. The position involves working remotely, meeting with clients virtually, and helping make insurance decisions clear and comfortable. It is suited to someone who enjoys helping people, communicates confidently, and values training, coaching, and advancement opportunities. This is a 100% remote independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven, not hourly or salaried. No prior insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided. Candidates must obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities and cover applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at their own expense. Licensing requirements, fees, compensation, and contractor terms may vary by state and will be reviewed during hiring and onboarding.
Requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.

- Comfortable learning online systems and computer functions.
- Self-motivated with a positive, professional approach.
- Able to work successfully both independently and within a team.
- At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Provide a computer or laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace.
- Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
- Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.

Responsibilities
- Work with prospective clients from company-provided warm leads.
- Schedule and conduct virtual appointments.
- Build rapport and identify each client’s insurance needs.
- Present life, supplemental health, and accident insurance options.
- Answer questions and provide clear, helpful information.
- Follow up with clients and maintain professional relationships.
- Keep organized records and complete required documentation.
- Attend ongoing training and coaching sessions.
- Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings.
