About The Position

This on-call position is part of the Food & Beverage team. The Remedy Server provides an expertly served dining experience by anticipating guests’ needs and demonstrating expert knowledge of dining menus, ingredients, preparation methods, wine, cocktails, and service.

The role involves connecting with guests, entering orders and special requests into the hotel’s point-of-sale system, delivering and clearing food, and assisting guests promptly throughout service. The server also supports department sales goals through upselling, accurately closes guest checks and processes payments, and communicates with team members to ensure accurate table service delivery.

Requirements

• Two or more years of server experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant setting.
• Good communication skills for direct guest interaction.
• Fluency in English.
• Current work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to stand for more than eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable dining experience by connecting with guests and maintaining strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, mixed drinks, and menu preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders and special requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
• Deliver and clear guest food and assist with guest needs promptly throughout service.
• Upsell higher-priced wine and food items to help achieve department sales goals.
• Accurately close guest checks and process cash and credit card payments.
• Communicate with other team members to support accurate table service delivery.
