About The Position

Residents Medical is hiring a client-facing sales specialist to help International Medical Graduates navigate entry into the U.S. residency system. The role is the first point of connection for prospective candidates and focuses on building trust, explaining services and enrollment terms, and converting inquiries into committed clients. The specialist manages leads through enrollment, meets monthly enrollment and revenue targets, maintains accurate CRM records, and coordinates enrolled-client handoffs to placement and academic teams. The role also requires staying informed about the Match, ACGME pathways, and IMG immigration essentials.

Requirements

At least 2 years of proven success in counseling, admissions, advising, or consultative sales.
Strong listening skills and the ability to build trust with high-achieving, anxious, time-pressed candidates.
Motivation to achieve targets and earn commission.
Organization, CRM fluency, and consistent follow-up.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare or education background.
Knowledge of the U.S. medical residency system, USMLE, the NRMP Match, or the IMG journey.
Experience working with international clients across time zones and cultures.
Multilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound and assigned candidate leads from initial contact through signed enrollment.
Conduct consultative conversations to understand candidates’ backgrounds, USMLE/COMLEX status, visa situations, and goals.
Clearly present RMG services, fee structures, and terms.
Meet monthly enrollment and revenue targets while building candidate trust and advocacy.
Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and follow up persistently.
Hand off enrolled clients to placement and academic teams.
Stay informed about the Match, ACGME pathways, and IMG immigration essentials.
