About The Position

Drawbridge is seeking a Relationship Manager to own a large, high-volume book of alternative investment firm clients, including hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices. The role centers on building trusted executive relationships, proactively demonstrating client outcomes, managing account health, and driving net revenue retention (NRR). The Relationship Manager will help clients understand and communicate the value of Drawbridge’s cybersecurity services to partners, boards, and LPs, and advise them as cybersecurity intersects with capital raising, regulatory scrutiny, and operational risk. The Relationship Manager leads the client relationship while partnering with Client Success and technical colleagues who support service delivery. The role also includes identifying expansion opportunities, collaborating with sales on referrals and portfolio company introductions, managing renewal timelines and negotiations, submitting weekly forecasts, and sharing market intelligence with the team. The position is hybrid in New York or Boston and involves regular client travel, including in-person visits when appropriate.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a client-facing role such as relationship management, account management, or customer success, ideally at a SaaS, fintech, or financial services firm.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a book of business with NRR or retention accountability, and willingness to manage a higher-volume book than a typical enterprise account role.
  • Background in financial services, ideally alternative investment management, such as hedge fund, private equity, or family office operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings with senior executives and make complex risk topics understandable.
  • Ability to present data-driven findings and translate them into business terms for non-technical audiences.
  • Commercial judgment and understanding of both client satisfaction and client retention.
  • Comfort using AI tools in daily workflows to work efficiently, prepare thoroughly, and manage a large book without sacrificing relationship quality.
  • Proactive approach to identifying client concerns and acting before clients raise them.
  • Curiosity about clients’ businesses, capital raising, regulatory exposure, and operational concerns.
  • Ability to build trust through consistent engagement and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SEC examination preparedness, Reg S-P, or LP due diligence processes.
  • Experience working alongside technical delivery teams, such as solutions engineers or vCISOs.
  • Background in alternative investment operations, including fund administration, compliance, or technology.
  • Prior experience at a cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance SaaS company.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to manage client communications, synthesize account context, or accelerate workflow at scale.
  • Cybersecurity experience; the company indicates it will train the successful candidate in this area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with operational contacts and executive sponsors across client accounts.
  • Engage with clients during regulatory exams, LP due diligence cycles, and board-level risk conversations.
  • Conduct in-person client visits when appropriate.
  • Frame client interactions around business impact, including capital protection, regulatory exposure, and operational continuity.
  • Help clients communicate security program progress and Drawbridge’s value to LPs, boards, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a current view of delivered outcomes and upcoming work for each account.
  • Monitor engagement and account-health signals, surface risks early, and prioritize outreach based on account health.
  • Partner with internal Client Success and technical colleagues who support delivery while leading the client relationship.
  • Use internal AI tools to identify engagement gaps, synthesize client context, and manage the book efficiently.
  • Identify and advance platform expansion opportunities as client needs evolve.
  • Collaborate with sales on referrals and portfolio company introductions, particularly within private equity relationships.
  • Manage the commercial side of renewals, including timelines, stakeholder alignment, and negotiation.
  • Submit accurate weekly renewal forecasts with clear risk notes.
  • Share market intelligence from client conversations, including LP due diligence trends, regulatory exam themes, and competitive positioning signals.
  • Follow the established Relationship Manager playbook and share client learnings to improve it.

Benefits

  • Competitive base and performance compensation tied to NRR.
  • Hybrid work arrangement in New York or Boston with regular client travel.
  • Opportunity to work with an underserved client base in the alternative investment sector.
  • Opportunity to join an established Relationship Manager playbook and learn from a strong, senior team.
