About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker for its Northfield, Illinois location. In this dual-role position, the banker builds and retains meaningful customer relationships, identifies financial needs, and recommends suitable products and services. The role also supports branch operations by serving customers at a teller drawer, assisting with accounts and digital products, identifying potential fraud and risks, and connecting customers with specialized partners. Depending on the shift, the banker may be responsible for opening or closing the bank and helping with community and bank events.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school diploma or GED.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, discover customers’ financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, take responsibility for bank opening or closing.
Help support community and bank events.
