About The Position

Wintrust is a $66 billion financial institution based in Rosemont, Illinois, providing community and commercial banking, specialty finance, and wealth management services. The Relationship Banker builds and retains meaningful customer relationships by understanding customers’ financial needs and recommending relevant products and services. This dual-role position supports branch operations and connects customers with specialized experts when appropriate. Depending on the shift, the banker may be responsible for opening or closing the bank. The position is based in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, support bank opening or closing.
Help support community and bank events.
