About The Position
Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker in Evergreen Park, Illinois. In this dual-role position, the banker builds and retains meaningful customer relationships, identifies customers’ financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services. The role supports branch success through customer service, teller operations, account servicing, risk awareness, and participation in community and bank events. The position may include opening or closing the bank depending on the shift. The estimated hourly rate is $22.00–$28.00, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Build lasting customer relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialized expertise.
- Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
- Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
- Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
- Depending on the shift, take responsibility for opening or closing the bank.
- Help support community and bank events.
