About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its community banking business. The role builds and retains customer relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending suitable products and services. It also supports branch operations through teller services, account opening and maintenance, digital banking assistance, risk recognition, and participation in community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the banker may be responsible for opening or closing the bank.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school diploma or GED.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, take responsibility for bank opening or closing.
Help support community and bank events.
