About The Position
Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its LaSalle branch in Chicago, Illinois. In this dual-role position, you will build and retain meaningful customer relationships, use financial knowledge to identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services. You will contribute to branch success by providing teller services, supporting customers with accounts and digital products, identifying potential fraud and other risks, and connecting customers with specialized partners. Depending on the shift, you may also open or close the bank. The role includes supporting community and bank events.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Build lasting customer relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
- Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
- Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
- Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
- Depending on the shift, take responsibility for bank opening or closing.
- Help support community and bank events.
