About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its LaSalle location in Chicago, Illinois. In this dual-role position, the Relationship Banker builds and retains meaningful customer relationships, identifies financial needs, and recommends suitable products and services. The role supports branch success by serving customers across teller and account services, connecting customers with specialized financial experts, recognizing potential fraud and other risks, and helping with community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the banker may also be responsible for opening or closing the bank.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, help open or close the bank.
Help support community and bank events.
