About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to serve customers at its Bolingbrook, Illinois location. In this dual-role position, the banker builds and retains meaningful customer relationships, identifies financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services. The role also supports branch operations by handling teller transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, helping customers use digital products, identifying potential fraud and other risks, and supporting community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the banker may be responsible for opening or closing the bank. The estimated hourly rate is $22.00–$28.00, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus; actual pay may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school diploma or GED.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting relationships with customers, discover their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, take responsibility for opening or closing the bank.
Help support community and bank events.
