About The Position
Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to join their team. This role involves building and retaining customer relationships, using financial knowledge to recommend solutions, and contributing to branch success. The Relationship Banker will discover customer financial needs, tailor product recommendations, collaborate with business partners for specialized needs, operate a teller drawer, open accounts, perform account maintenance, assist with digital products, recognize potential fraud, and support community and bank events. Depending on the shift, responsibilities may include bank opening/closing.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role
- High School diploma or GED required
- Intermediate computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Bilingual Spanish required
Responsibilities
- Build and retain meaningful relationships with customers.
- Discover customer financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Wealth Management) to connect customers to experts.
- Operate a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby/drive-up.
- Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
- Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
- Support community and bank events.
- Bank opening/closing (depending on shift).
