About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker to serve customers at its Beverly branch in Chicago, Illinois. The role builds and retains meaningful customer relationships by understanding customers’ financial needs and recommending relevant products and services. The Relationship Banker contributes to branch success in a dual capacity: providing relationship-based banking guidance and performing teller and account-service activities. The role may include opening or closing the bank depending on the assigned shift, and supporting community and bank events.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, take responsibility for opening or closing the bank.
Help support community and bank events.
