About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its Gold Coast location in Chicago, Illinois. The role builds and retains meaningful customer relationships by understanding customers’ financial needs and recommending appropriate products and services. The Relationship Banker contributes to branch success by serving customers, supporting account and digital banking needs, identifying potential risks, and helping with community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the role may also include opening or closing the bank.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Retail banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialists for their needs.
• Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
• Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
• Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
• Depending on the shift, help open or close the bank.
• Help support community and bank events.
