About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker to serve customers at a branch in the Near West area of Chicago. The role focuses on building and retaining customer relationships, understanding financial needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. The Relationship Banker also supports branch operations by assisting customers with teller transactions, account services, and digital banking, while identifying potential fraud and risk. The role may include opening or closing the bank depending on the shift, and supporting community and bank events.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting relationships with customers, discover their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialized expertise.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, take responsibility for bank opening or closing.
Help support community and bank events.
