About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its Near West Chicago, Illinois location. The role builds and retains customer relationships by understanding customers’ financial needs and recommending suitable products and services. It supports branch operations through teller service, account opening and maintenance, digital-product assistance, risk awareness, and participation in community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the banker may also open or close the bank. The role collaborates with business partners such as Mortgage and Wealth Management to connect customers with specialized assistance.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
High school degree or equivalent.
Intermediate computer skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialized help.
Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
Depending on the shift, open or close the bank.
Help support community and bank events.
