Relationship Banker (Gold Coast) - Chicago, IL
About The Position
Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its Gold Coast location in Chicago, Illinois. In this dual-role position, you will build and retain meaningful customer relationships, identify customers’ financial needs, and recommend tailored products and services. You will contribute to branch success by serving customers through teller transactions, account services, and digital banking support, while helping connect customers with specialized banking partners. Depending on the shift, you may also be responsible for opening or closing the bank and supporting community and bank events.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Build lasting relationships with customers, discover their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with experts for specialized needs.
- Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
- Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
- Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
- Depending on the shift, help open or close the bank.
- Support community and bank events.
