About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisor for its Gold Coast team. The Style Advisor provides an exceptional customer experience to visitors to Equinox and The Shop, follows direction from the Shop Manager on Duty (MOD) regarding business strategy and action plans, and helps complete operational tasks accurately and on time. The role contributes to monthly sales goals, maintains knowledge of club and Shop offerings, supports inventory and loss-prevention practices, and helps uphold merchandising, brand, dress-code, housekeeping, and organizational standards. The Style Advisor also builds effective working relationships, communicates clearly, and complies with company policies and initiatives. The position pays $17.80 per hour, with the ability to earn additional incentives.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer service business, preferably retail.
• Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to use new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assigned monthly individual sales goals and the total monthly store goal.
• Provide an unparalleled customer experience to visitors to The Shop and Equinox.
• Maintain knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Follow loss-prevention and inventory-management policies.
• Understand communication and training materials and assist the Shop MOD with timely and accurate completion of assigned operational tasks.
• Assist the Shop MOD with merchandising and marketing direction and maintain the Shop’s brand standards, including compliance with the Shop dress code.
• Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Build effective relationships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of activities and standards in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures, and support company initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
