About The Position

Wintrust is hiring a full-time Relationship Banker for its Northfield, Illinois location. In this dual-role position, the banker builds and retains customer relationships, uses financial knowledge to recommend appropriate solutions, and contributes to branch success. The role includes customer-facing banking and teller duties, account servicing, risk awareness, and support for community and bank events. Depending on the shift, the banker may also be responsible for opening or closing the bank.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships, identify financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Collaborate with business partners, including Mortgage and Wealth Management, to connect customers with specialists for their needs.
• Operate a teller drawer and serve customers in the lobby or drive-up.
• Open accounts, perform account maintenance, and assist customers with digital products.
• Recognize potential fraud and other risks.
• Depending on the shift, help open or close the bank.
• Support community and bank events.
