This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in Human Resources in Public Organizations (PAP3340, Section A00) for the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The course will study the normative and institutional foundations of personnel management in public administration, covering topics such as the non-partisan nature of the Public Service, the merit principle, employment equity, and various dimensions of human resources management including planning, recruitment, performance evaluation, and training. It will also cover labor relations in the public sector and the Senior Public Service. The course is expected to have an enrolment of 88 students and is worth 3 credits. The instruction language is English. The course will be offered in person, but the teaching method may be modified due to public health measures or other reasons.
