About The Position

The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Social Psychology (PSY2110, Section D00) for the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers social perception, attitudes, prejudice, interpersonal attraction, social influence, aggression, groups, and leadership, along with current research in social psychology. The course is offered in person and is scheduled for Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The expected enrollment is 156 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge of the course content area
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

Nice To Haves

  • Competence in a second language (passive).

Responsibilities
