This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Psychology: Foundations (PSY1101, Section D00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers the object and method of psychology, historical perspective, nervous system, consciousness, sensory processes, perception, cognition, memory, language, thought, emotions, motivation, and learning. The course is offered in person and is scheduled for Tuesdays from 14:30 to 16:00 and Fridays from 16:00 to 17:30. The expected enrollment is 350 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025 rates, subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement). The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.
