About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Research Methods and Ethics (PSY2174, Section D00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers the methodology and ethics of research, including research protocols, experimental and non-experimental designs, documentation, and writing style. The course is offered in person and has an expected enrollment of 60 students. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Advanced knowledge of the course content area
- Competence in a second language (passive)
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
- All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
- Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Research Methods and Ethics (PSY2174, Section D00).
- Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an anticipated absence.
