About The Position

This course focuses on learning phenomena, exploring the conditions of learning and their consequences. The instructional methods include lectures, laboratory exercises, and reports. The course is offered in person and is taught in English.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge of the course content area (Learning and Conditioning)
  • Competence in a second language (passive)
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
  • Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and conduct laboratory exercises for the Learning and Conditioning course (PSY3103).
  • Prepare and grade laboratory reports.
  • Maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an anticipated absence.
