About The Position

The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to International Relations (POL2103, Section D00) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course will study international relations and the dynamics within the global order, emphasizing key concepts, theories, and analytic frameworks. It will also analyze contemporary issues and their impact on globalization and global relations. The course is scheduled for Mondays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will be offered in person, though the teaching method may be modified due to public health measures or other reasons. Requirements

Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of International Relations
Teaching experience in the field
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training (as may be modified by provincial law)
