About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach Learning and Conditioning (PSY3103, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers learning phenomena, the conditions of learning and their consequences, and includes lectures, laboratory exercises, and reports. The course is offered in person and will be taught in English. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The hiring process will be governed by the current APTPUO collective agreements. Requirements

Ph.D. in Psychology
Advanced knowledge of the course content area (Learning and Conditioning)
Competence in a second language (passive)
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver lectures and laboratory exercises for the Learning and Conditioning course.
Prepare and submit reports related to course delivery.
Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
Promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be canceled.
Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an upcoming absence.
