About The Position
The University of Ottawa, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for BIO1141, Section A00, Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course covers topics such as the origin of life, cell structure and function, molecular biology fundamentals (replication, transcription, translation), and membrane transport. The expected enrollment is 420 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The language of instruction is English.
Requirements
- Postdoctoral training in the appropriate area of Biology.
- Evidence of success as a teacher at the relevant university level.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).
