About The Position

The Faculty of Science, Department of Biology at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach BIO1141, Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology, Section C00, during the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers topics such as the origin of life, cell structure and function, cell cycle and reproduction, molecular biology fundamentals (replication, transcription, translation), and membrane transport. Requirements

  • Postdoctoral training in the appropriate area of Biology.
  • Evidence of success as a teacher at the relevant university level.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
