About The Position
The Department of Communication at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach CMN3109-D00, Advanced Theories of Communication, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course will study major paradigms influencing contemporary communication research, including systems theory, critical approach, pragmatics, constructivism, and post-modernism. The course is scheduled for Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and will be offered in person. Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.A. in Communication with professional experience in Communication or related discipline.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Ability to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
Nice To Haves
- Specialization or teaching experience in the subject matter is recommended.
- B.A. with significant professional experience can be considered.
Responsibilities
- Teach Advanced Theories of Communication (CMN3109-D00) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
- Deliver the course in person on Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
