About The Position
The Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology (BIO1141, Section B00) during the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers the origin of life, cell structure and function, cell movement, cell cycle and reproduction, molecular biology fundamentals (replication, transcription, translation), and membrane transport. Previously known as BIO 1110, this course is designed for an expected enrollment of 420 students and carries 3 credits. The language of instruction is English.
Requirements
- Postdoctoral training in the appropriate area of Biology.
- Evidence of success as a teacher at the relevant university level.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).

Responsibilities
