About The Position

This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach CLA/SRS3333-A00: Religions of the Graeco-Roman World during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course offers a detailed investigation into the religions of the Graeco-Roman world, primarily focusing on Greek and Roman religion and their local variations, such as religion in Roman Gaul. No specialized knowledge of Greek or Latin is required. The course has variable topics and can be taken multiple times if the themes differ. Requirements

  • M.A. in Religious Studies or equivalent.
  • Expertise in the selected topic required.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Competence in the language of instruction (English).

Responsibilities

  • Teach CLA/SRS3333-A00: Religions of the Graeco-Roman World.
  • Conduct a detailed investigation of the religions of the Graeco-Roman world, mainly Greek and Roman religion, and their local variants.
  • Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
