About The Position

The Faculty of Arts, Department of Communication is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the Communication Management course (CMN5135-A00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course explores the role of communication in organizational development, team development, and corporate/institutional positioning, examining internal and external communication strategies in public and private organizations through case studies of Canadian and international organizations. The course will be taught in English and offered in person on Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Communication or MA with extensive relevant professional experience.
10+ years of experience in increasingly senior positions directing communication strategy, communication planning, media relations, event planning, and crisis communication in public and private sector organizations.
Ability to create community service learning (CSL) initiatives.
Evidence of an excellent capacity to teach at the university level.
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
Proficiency in English.
