About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the CRM2710 course, "Action et intervention communautaires en criminologie" (Community Action and Intervention in Criminology), during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on a critical understanding of the concepts, theoretical orientations, and processes specific to community action and intervention. The course is offered in French and is in-person, with scheduled classes on Mondays from 16:00 to 17:30 and Wednesdays from 14:30 to 16:00. The expected enrollment is 88 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025 rates, subject to collective agreement ratification and retroactivity).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Criminology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Demonstrable track record of subject knowledge through previous teaching experience in the same or similar course and/or research in the field.
  • Ability to teach in French.
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
