About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Canadian Politics (POL2101, Section D00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course will cover the foundations of the Canadian political space, including the constitution, parliamentary government, federalism, political parties, elections, and an overview of political forces. The course is offered online in a scheduled, synchronous format with live instruction. The University provides training for online course delivery, and the teaching method may be adjusted due to public health measures or other reasons. Requirements

Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of Canadian Politics.
Teaching experience in the field.
Competence in a second language (active).

Responsibilities

Teach Introduction to Canadian Politics (POL2101, Section D00) in a synchronous online format.
Provide live instruction for the course.
