About The Position
The rationale and problems of psychometric methods. Test construction and item analysis. Psychometric properties of tests: reliability, validity and standard error. The different types of norms. Intelligence, aptitude, interest and personality: Tests and models.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Advanced knowledge in Psychometric Methods
- Competence in second language: Passive
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
- Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual).
Nice To Haves
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course PSY3307 Psychometric Methods.
- Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual).
- Promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in advance of an upcoming absence.
