About The Position

The rationale and problems of psychometric methods. Test construction and item analysis. Psychometric properties of tests: reliability, validity and standard error. The different types of norms. Intelligence, aptitude, interest and personality: Tests and models.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge in Psychometric Methods
  • Competence in second language: Passive
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
  • Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual).

Nice To Haves

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course PSY3307 Psychometric Methods.
  • Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual).
  • Promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in advance of an upcoming absence.
