About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor in the Civil Law Section at the University of Ottawa for the course 'Droit des successions' (Course Code: DRC4559, Section: BB00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course, worth 3 credits, will be taught in French, in-person at Fauteux Hall, on Wednesdays from 8:30-11:30. The expected enrolment is 80 students. The curriculum covers the general principles governing testamentary devolution and specific rules applicable to intestate and testamentary successions, from the opening of the succession until its liquidation. The hourly teaching rate is $239.47 (based on 2024-2025 rates), which does not include vacation or statutory pay, and will be retroactively adjusted upon ratification of a new collective agreement. Requirements
