About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course "Droit fiscal général" (General Tax Law) for the 2027 Winter Semester. The course, identified as DRC4745 Section BB00, is an introduction to taxation. It covers various topics including the sources and principles of interpretation of tax law, its objectives, principles, and policies, the concept of the tax unit, tax liability, the tax base, capital gains and losses, other sources of taxable income and tax, fundamental rules related to corporations, and elements of tax planning. Requirements

  • Proficiency in the following topics: Introduction to taxation, including sources and principles of interpretation, objectives, principles and policies, tax unit, tax liability, tax base, capital gains and losses, other sources of taxable income and tax, fundamental rules relating to corporations, and elements of tax planning
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience
  • Passive competence in a second language (English, as the language of instruction is French)
