Registered Nurse, Full Time Nights, 7p - 7a, Deskovick 4, Atlantic Health, Morristown Medical Center
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The nurse monitors patients, administers medications, maintains records, consults with healthcare providers, and educates patients. This is a full-time night position, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., on Deskovick 4 at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The role requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, a current New Jersey Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support certification, and at least one year of acute care RN experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Nurses with an Associate of Science in Nursing must complete BSN studies within five years of their start date.
Requirements

- Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and complete healthcare records and reports.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
