About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Option at Beech Grove Meadows provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Nurses build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and help create a comforting, engaging atmosphere. The role calls for teamwork, collaboration with nursing and other facility teams, and a commitment to respectful communication and excellent senior care. The organization has served customers since 2000 and operates more than 100 American Senior Communities in Indiana.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment.
- Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
