About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Hickory Creek New Castle, you will build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and support excellent senior care. This is a full-time, day-shift Weekend Option position.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Coordinate with nursing and other facility teams to provide comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Manage medications.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
