About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you will build meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of residents and staff. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being in a rewarding senior-care setting. The position is a full-time day-shift weekend option role with American Senior Communities.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
